Part A:
This is my second time in creative writing and I feel like this time I feel more confident with sharing my blog posts and with people seeing what I wrote. I feel like I have grown as a writer because with some of my posts I am starting to write about more happy things rather than dark things. With doing this I grow out of my comfort zone to try new things. I feel like even my language has matured in a way throughout the years.
Part B: When I was first creating my blog It was really hard to find out what worked and what represented me. I was constantly changing my blog features until I found one that caught my eye. I like the gifs I put in my blog because I feel like they can really catch someone’s attention. Things I would change however is the organization because I feel as if my blog is really cluttered and could be a little more organized. For inspiration wise there is 3 people who’s blog I love reading.

Part C: Through creative writing class a lot of my aha moments have come from either reading and writing down some quotes or a quote that Mrs.Hunnisett has written on the boared for us. A lot of my blog posts are the majority of quotes that have inspired me. As a reader I am exploring different varieties of writing than I ave before and I would like to keep that going for books to come. The best book I have read this semester is The Vampire Academy mostly because it is the genre I like to read most. Reading has improved my writing because I get inspiration from the book through its quotes to form a blog post. My next steps to improve is to fix my GUMPS in my writing and also learn how to structure it better.
Part C: For my writers seminar I wanted to make sure I picked an author that does a genre that I like to write about. That way I could get even more information by studying them. I would also consider doing Stephenie Meyer because I have always liked the idea of her books and would like to read and know more about them. Genres that have interested me the most are fantasy romance and thriller/horror. I learned from my author that you don’t need to be perfect all the time because not everyone will love a piece that you publish.

This is the first peice that I am proud about this semester because itś usually not the type of writing I do so in writing this piece it pushed me out of my comfort zone. I got the inspiration from a video who had watched in class. I have never been good with writing long blogs but this is one of the longer ones I had written.
