Monsters

I’m not afraid of werewolves or vampires or haunted hotels, I’m afraid of what real human beings do to other real human beings.

Adversity makes men, and prosperity makes monsters.

Monsters die out on the collective imagination no longer needs them.

The world is full of monsters with friendly faces and angels full of scars.

We create monsters and them we can’t control them.

It always seems impossible until it’s done.

We make out own monsters, then fear them for what they show us about ourselves.
